Our Team

Co-Founder & Medical Director
(He, him, his)

Eric Wexler, M.D. Ph.D. is a board-certified physician and scientist who specializes in the diagnosis and pharmacologic management of psychiatric illnesses, with a specialty in treating patients living with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Dr. Wexler operates a private psychiatry practice in Santa Monica, California, where he provides diagnostic evaluations and ongoing treatment to patients suffering from severe mental illness. His comprehensive approach to clinical care also recognizes the many factors beyond medication management that affect recovery, including exercise, diet, environment and heredity.  In addition, Dr. Wexler served as the Medical Director of Resilience Treatment Center and Restorative Residential, severe mental illness focused partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient and residential treatment programs, from inception in 2015 through their acquisition in 2022.  Dr. Wexler worked closely with Mr. Marroquín and Ms. Mark at Resilience and Restorative, where they recognized the unmet needs of thought disordered patients and resolved to do something about it.

Dr. Wexler is a devoted and sought-after clinical expert and medical legal consultant who  undertook his psychiatry training and a postdoctoral fellowship in psychopharmacology at Stanford University. He went on to complete an additional fellowship in neurobehavioral genetics at The University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Wexler graduated Phi Bet Kappa from Vassar College with a degree in biochemistry, before entering medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During his medical schooling, he undertook research into nerve cell development and neurotransmitter function, for which he was awarded both a medical degree (M.D.) and a doctorate in neurobiology (Ph.D.).

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
(She, her, hers)

Ms. Wexler is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Lucidity Behavioral Health, LLC. Ms. Wexler brought together Dr. Eric Wexler, her husband, and Mr. Adrian Marroquín to create and offer the California OnTrack coordinated specialty care psychosis treatment program. Ms. Wexler served as the Chief Operating Officer of Resilience Treatment Center and Restorative Residential, offering differing levels of care from residential treatment to partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient treatment. The company was borne from Ms. Wexler’s personal experience watching the deterioration resulting from untreated Schizophrenia. Recognizing that nearly all primary mental healthcare services are aimed at drug & alcohol addiction and mood & eating disorders, Ms. Wexler observed that people with psychosis are a grossly underserved patient population. These patients are often written off from the very start of the illness despite significant recovery potential. She leads the company with the goal to meet previously unmet treatment needs of people with psychosis – Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, Bipolar I, and cannabis-induced psychosis.

Ms. Wexler earned her law degree (J.D.) from Columbia University, where she was a Stone Scholar. Before that, she earned her M.A. and B.A., both with high honors, from the University of Chicago, where Ms. Wexler studied history and philosophy and wrote her thesis on the medical ethics of insurance reforms in the areas of small market, employer mandates, high risk pooling and Medicaid.

Before forming the company, Ms. Wexler was a transactional partner at national and international law firms where she specialized in M&A and securities law. Before its acquisition, Ms. Wexler served as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of US Bancorp Libra, a division of US Bank, N.A., where she ran mezzanine financing and leveraged M&A transactions. Ms. Wexler brings to our team her broad transactional experience, as well as knowledge of the behavioral health and insurance industry, entrepreneurial start-ups, financial operations, and market acquisition strategies.
