Description

California OnTrack is a growing coordinated specialty care (CSC) program providing early psychosis intervention to individuals at high-risk for, in the prodromal stages of, or diagnosed with thought disorders (e.g. schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I with psychotic features, substance induced psychosis). We are located on the Westside of Los Angeles and we are seeking a Primary Therapist to join our team of experts in remedying disparities in psychosis care and provide state of the art treatment to one of the most underserved populations. California OnTrack clinicians are more than just therapists, they are advocates, coaches, case managers, and beacons of hope for clients and their loved ones who bear the burden of stigma for an illness that has been written off. Responsibilities
  • Maintain a supportive and safe environment for clients at all times
  • Aid clients in attending all scheduled clinical services on time and encourage participation in on-site and off-site activities. Document daily attendance and sign in sheets.
  • Provide skill coaching as needed
  • Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner as required, including all notes in EMR
  • Ensures that documentation reflects all changes in client’s condition and notify clinical staff of any noteworthy observations
  • Maintains patient, employee and company confidentiality
  • Work alongside the clinical treatment team to ensure proper and efficient clinical care to our patients.
  • Must attend all training, education, and staff enrichment activities
  • Assists with clients in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Participates in weekly treatment team and communicates weekly treatment goals with all team members.
  • Leads/Co-leads and facilitates groups and Clubhouse activities (as appropriate to licensure)
  • Performs all other duties assigned by their assigned supervisor. This could include some light housekeeping duties, conducting inventory, prepping supplies for the next day, etc.
  • Complete all documentation, assessments, and treatment plans on time.
  • Document all activity in BestNotes on the day the activity took place.
  • Conduct individual and family therapy sessions 1-2 times per week with each client and complete progress notes.
Qualifications
  • Current registration or license with Board of Behavioral Science: LCSW, ACSW, LMFT, AMFT.
  • Familiarity with Health care laws, Ethics, and regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, and professional boundaries.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers at all levels of the organization.
  • Previous mental health experience in treatment setting.
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
  • Ability to provide health and TB clearance.

  • Knowledge of group facilitation techniques
  • Proficiency in suicide assessment and evidence-based suicide prevention techniques
  • Ability to write comprehensive progress notes using GIRP format
  • Must cope constructively with stressful situations.
  • Must demonstrate tact, initiative, resourcefulness, professional manner, enthusiasm, and non-judgmental attitude.
  • Documents clearly and efficiently.
  • Ability to implement and adhere to policies and procedures in clinical program.
  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures general to the industry.
Education
  • Master’s (Required)
Experience
  • One year of experience in a mental health treatment facility, psychiatry or psychologist office setting (preferred).

Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. The Mental Health Technician will be responsible for ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients, assisting clients in attending scheduled clinical services and activities, providing skill coaching, documenting incidents and changes in client condition, and completing clinical documentation in a timely manner. Qualifications

  • Must have valid California driver’s license and liability insurance if driving personal vehicle on Center business.
  • Ability to provide health and TB clearance
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
  • Ability to pass DMV and thorough background check.
  • Familiarity with Health care laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
